Future Updates / Hint of some likely [Future Updates]

In a Cyber Space of tensioned peace, long lives the Overlord of all BOTs - [BOT Overlord]Xenia. Xenia is never seen in-game, however, is referenced periodically in the game. Xenia is known by the BOTs as nothing less than an immortal God. During the first Virus invasion, Xenia was the first among the BOTs to rally an assault force to combat the Viruses head-on. Before Sector battles, there was just work. The BOTs kept the Sectors clean of corrupt data and quarantined all Viruses to halt any possibility of war.

When Cyber Space expanded, Sectors became abandoned and piled up with corrupted data. These became the breeding grounds for the first Virus invasion, and from this came the great war to protect Cyber Space. For the first time the BOTs had begun to take on powerful gear to prepare for battle. Xenia lead his squad into the depths of the Sectors, eliminating the viruses everywhere he went. Virus numbers dwindled slowly, so all Xenia could do was push further and further to the sources. Xenia was the first BOT to find the Hackenn Core, and with his squad he managed to significantly damage stability of Viruses everywhere. Xenia had come to the end, and was prepared to go the rest of the way for Cyber Space. A colossal battle between the Virus Overlord [Combat Chief]Xabaras and Xenia brought the Hackenn Core to ruin, and ultimately Xabaras was defeated. Xenia was damaged greatly by the battle and eventually fell to the surrounding viruses who were infinite. Thanks to the efforts of several task forces of the BOTs, Xenia was extracted from the Hackenn Core. The weakened Xabaras did what he could to seal off the Hackenn Core, ensuring his safety from the BOTs in his damaged state.

Xabaras continues to rebuild his Virus army with his vast amounts of corrupted data and with all the Sectors under his control. As they are routinely cleansed by the BOTs who are now trained for elite combat, he cannot reclaim his former legacy. Xenia saved the BOTs from the Viruses, and was announced as the savior of Cyber Space. He had done what no one else could do, and lived. However the war took its toll on Xenia, and he now resides in the once again peaceful territories of Cyber Space as the BOT Overlord. [BOT Overlord]Xenia has trained many BOTs and built the first BOTS military of all time to ensure no Viruses could ever overthrow Cyber Space again. Among his Elites is the White Knight, who through great dedication and fervor was granted the title of High Commander of the Winged Army.

Though Cyber Space is often at peace, there is word of an upcoming attack from the Viruses - a grunt in White Knight's Winged Army discovered plans stolen from a top secret location on the outskirts of Cyber Space - the Trojan Isles, home of the Viruses, lead under [Combat Chief]Xabaras.

In preparation, [BOT Overlord]Xenia ordered new troops be forcefully trained under the Winged Army, in defense of Cyber Space. In addition to ordering new troops, he also demanded some Elite members of the Winged Army be trained to watch over, and discipline those deemed "unfit" or "untrusted" by the Winged Army, for times of War calls for desperation. In complete loyalty, the White Knight agreed, and this he did...

The Winged Army is a consolidated, long-standing Army who enforces the laws of Cyber Space, designed and executed by [BOT Overlord]Xenia. Lead by [High Commander]White Knight and his General, Scourge, they fight for justice and peace, to the will of their High BOT Overlord. Although [General]Scourge is equal in power to [High Commander]White Knight, he has remained in his position as General mostly for his lust for power. He often has problems with [High Commander]White Knight's leadership and states he could do a better job in his position. Nonetheless he is a faithful servant of [BOT Overlord]Xenia, regardless of his hate for [High Commander]White Knight and the Winged Army.

The Winged Army is the bread & butter of [BOT Overlord]Xenia's forces. They are fanatic servants to [BOT Overlord]Xenia and carry out his will to their death, for they believe it is better to die for Xenia than to live for themselves. To this extent, they began forcefully taking in BOTs of all types around Cyber Space. For those who were already High Generals in the Winged Army, they were trained to new, Elite levels by the tops (including the great White Knight himself) of Cyber Space. Given the legal power to...discipline...those deemed unworthy of fighting as a Knight of the Winged Army, these Elite Generals tread heavily to prepare those who are worthy -- and "rid" the Great Army of those unworthy.

But with such power comes corruption. The Elites began allowing personal feuds cloud their judgement, punishing unjustly those who have the most loyalty to [BOT Overlord]Xenia and [High Commander]White Knight. From the outside, this corruption was noticeable and unbearable -- hatred ensued towards the Winged Army for their treatment of forced warriors, and soon began to fight off those who have come for the devestating draft. On the inside, the BOTs in high positions could recognize the corruption. [General]Scourge demanded something be done, but [High Commander]White Knight justified it as the Overlords will. In hatred and spite, [General]Scourge left the Winged Army in hopes of ending the corruption by training BOTs of their own of free will, promising retreat against the Winged Army, to fight the Viruses off himself.

[High Commander]White Knight was extremely against the idea, and demanded he return to the Winged Army as to the High Overlords request. In response, now High Commander of his own army, [High Commander]Scourge destroyed multiple of the Winged Army's Elites, warning of the coming destruction to ensue if he tries to stop him. With this, the Swarm was formed - refugees and opposers of the once Great Army. Seeking help from [BOT Overlord]Xenia, [High Commander]White Knight requested the destruction of the rebellious Swarming Legion. In disgust of such treason, yet with the current situation, [Bot Overlord]Xenia stripped [High Commander]Scourge of his official title in the Winged Army, but requested they refrain from fighting whilst the Virus Invasion is but a small distance away. While [High Commander]White Knight was strongly against this declaration, he bowed for his Overlord.

Knowing the High Overlords decision, [High Commander]Scourge continued to build his numbers. He allowed for the BOTs to train with either the Winged Army or himself, and continued to destroy the forces of the Winged Army, fueled by the now hatred for the "once-justice-serving" Army he once served, now overcome by power granted by the "corrupted-by-war" Highlord. To Scourge, he has concluded that he was right about [High Commander]White Knight. [High Commander]White Knight lead the Winged Army into corruption, and failed to reveal to [BOT Overlord]Xenia the error of his forceful drafting.

BoutCheetah In-game Moderator Application:

IGN:

Hello Allie, I am. My in-game level is 221 and I've been playing since basically the start of BoutCheetah (through multiple IGNs).

Here's my knowledge of the history your game:

-Started in June of 2009
-Built essentially from scratch as the original release only had login-server
-Membership designated for $3.00 per person, not automated
-Went down in April of 2010, a quote from Allie claims it was a result of Acclaim

2010
----
-Came back in June of 2010, completely wiped, in Beta
-August, beta ends
-August 24, Membership becomes automated (at the price of $5.50), commands added
-August 25, Acclaim shuts down
-October 31, Original Halloween set released (everyone who logged in got a set of their BOT type)
-November 3, Coin part prices were risen to reflect the growing amount of Coins in the game
-December 25, Santa and Rudolf Shield and Mini-bot released for the first time (traditionally released every Christmas)
-December 31, the current drop table was released

2011
----
-January 27, original web-client released (as a chat-only feature, currently not functional)
-February 24, server released in C# (previously in Java)
-February 26, pay-by-phone membership released
-March 4, Super doubler removed, all members get 2x gigas/coins/experience automatically
-March 16, ZylonShield original release, packet encryption released
-March 21, Relay server released to allow players who cannot connect to connect
-July 7, current skin released
-July 17, current website skin released
-July 23, +6/7 released
-July 28, buying gigas/coins released
-September 10, tags released to modify in-game content
-October 31, Halloween Shield/Shoulder/Trans released (everyone who logged in got either Shield or Shoulder)
-November 3, Staff Member Applications board removed
-November 11, High Resolution released

2012
----
-January 5, Bot stract patch released, in order to lower the "over-powered" nature of BoutCheetah
-March 31, new Launcher released
-June 16, Survival Mode released
-September 4, Leech skill released
-September 20, Guild revamp and Experience overhaul
-October 15, Guild Co-Leaders and other miscellaneous Guild GUI updates

Here's some useful (though rather common) knowledge I know about your game today:

General
-------
-Halloween set with Shield, Shoulder and Trans allows for stats to be boosted to a comparable level with 196+5 parts.
-@commands in lobby tells of all commands in the game at this time.
-@tags in room tells of all the tags in the game at this time.

Sector
------
-I can name every level by level number and name, from [Lv1]Training to [Lv239]Jura's Requiem.
-I know of and commonly use the Drop List available on the website, and can endorse others to use the same.
-Members have 500 more luck, allowing for significantly more drops the more members are in the game, which is significantly less important than Lucky Auras themselves (200).

Survival
--------
-Survival allows for multiple rounds, with the last round constantly respawning.
-Items are only dropped from Boss mobs.
-Tier of the items are determined when you pick up the item, not when it drops (meaning you have to reach Tier 3 yourself to get the part).
-Tier 3 parts are stronger than +7 parts around that level, but are incredibly difficult to get.

PvP
---
-Botstract equal to the players level is dropped on a kill.
-The person who gets the last hit gets the kill.

You should pick me for in-game Moderator because I am a loyal, hard-working and active player in your game. I take my time and pass judgement fairly, in an entirely non-immature way (I'll bet you've never seen me being immature in-game). My knowledge of your game (and BOTS!! itself from Acclaim) is extremely vast, and I'd be willing to research anything I do not know in order to be the best I can be, for the benefit of your company, Zylon Gaming.

Thank you so much for reading my application, and hopefully considering me for the position.

Announcements / New Mods -- a Temporary Basis
November 04, 2012, 03:32:16 PM
Throughout the past couple weeks, I've been getting tons of applications from you guys, and I'm impressed with some of them.
Out of all 48 entries I got from you guys, about ten of them were worthy applicants. The decision was tough, but we in high-Administration have decided on the following players to be our new mods:
-Spiderstar
-Max
-Xala
-Eat4two

To the rest of you who applied, thank you for taking your time to apply (for some of you). We weren't expecting so many applications, and we're honoured to have received so many.

For those of you selected, please PM me with your desired Mod name and I'll give you your Moderator status. You must do so before tomorrow at midnight else you will be de-selected for inactivity.
We are looking for three moderators, so if one of these four are shown to be incapable, we will remove them from the team immediately, without warning.

Also, I'd like to thank Selene for all she's done -- she's finally reached Head GM. Welcome her as your Head GM kindly.

Halloween Event 2012
-----------------------
October 29 - November 2
-----------------------

------
Sector
------

This year we've got plenty in store for you, especially those of you looking for a nice challenge.

First, we will have a new map only available during Halloween for those of you willing to tough the difficult map. These maps are available at every 50 (1, 50, 100, 150, 200) and you must be within 50 levels of the map you are trying to play for the game to start. This map is designed to be difficult, but the rewards (which are dropped directly from the map) are entirely worth the challenge!

Also following Sector, we have implemented a Halloween Points system. This means you will get Halloween Points for completing any Sector game -- a maximum of 200 per day, 10 per round. However, you will only be able to fully obtain maximum Halloween Points if you play inconsistent games, ie [Lv6]Camp Invasion then [Lv1]Training, for if you play two consistent maps you'll end up getting less points. Also remember that you'll only get Halloween Points if your level is +-30 of the map you're playing. At the rate of 200 per day, 5 days for the event, your goal is to get 1,000 points, though for a reward you won't need it all. You have multiple rewards, and you'll get them all for reaching the top 1,000 points. Rewards are gifted at midnight on November 3.

A brand new sector mode has been released.  Story Mode allows you to go through all the maps, one by one, in consecutive order. You'll find wealthy rewards for completing the entire thing during the event, and will find just as great rewards after.  To use this simply put {story} in the room name!  You cannot use survival ({s}) with it.

---
PvP
---

Also in store for those of you who prefer PvP, we've introduced a new custom system that is sure to get you PvPing.

When you login, you may or may not notice a new function being run on your account - a new function to determine whether you're, what I call, an Oracle. Being an Oracle comes with great Honor in this year's event, as you'll be the target of everyone's killing spree.

We have two PvP events this year regarding Oracles. Your first goal is to kill five different Oracles (five different players) during the span of the event. You have all five days to do this, I'm certain all who try will be able to accomplish it. In addition to this, you should aim for three oracles per day, all five days. These events go hand-in-hand, and if you're gonna go for one, we suggest you go for the other!

Happy Oracle hunting!

--------
Survival
--------

For the entirety of the event, Tier 3 parts will be twice as common. If you've finished the rest of the events, and are still short on some Tier 3, now is the best time to try your luck!

We at Zylon Gaming hope your Halloween goes as scary (but not deadly) as it can. Happy Halloween, and don't eat too much candy (or bot stract)!
