No, we have a script which makes your account member automatically.  I will double check right now to make sure that it successfully made your account member.

Edit: You purchased the membership with e-check, which means it takes up to a week for pay-pal to process it.  Once the e-check clears, your account will become a member automatically.

(The wait is due to possible fraudulent charges)
