i tried to start bout cheetah but bout.dat gave me this error, i tried running it in different compatibility modes but none of them worked.

Try checking if your antivirus have blocked it.

i just disabled it and same thing happen

Remove bout.dat from your antivirus, turn off your antivirus & start the game again.

the thing is it diden't detect it as a virus..
i disabled my firewall and virus protection

full screen works but its half the screen and i want window mode

This can be caused by an incorrect version of direct-x, try finding the latest one.
