It's a limitless name, unlike the Bladess Core or Rapid Impaler, which sounds pretty lame to me.
It can stand for anything or everything in each everyone's mind. It's like Central Intelligence Agency [CIA]. That's a three letter abbreviated word, and it's an awesome one.
