K well the way I used to mod I would save the file as a jpeg or a tga and just rename it into ba0 or ba2 depending on what I was modding, it'd give me the message saying if I change it then it may not work properly, etc etc.  Now when I save it as a jpeg or w/e it saved as that particular file type and when I rename it, it's just renaming.  Could anyone tell me how to change either a .jpg or .tga file format into a .ba0 or .ba2?  =/  This is urgent D=

do you have xnview?

Wow renaming a damn file doesnt require a damn programm.
Heres how to do it -_-.
You have to disable the thing that disables the extensions box in control panel > appearence and personalisation > folder options > See > scroll down till you see something about extensions(dont know how to traduce it thought, its on spanish).
Then you just rename the file for example: ba0.jpg to ba0.png and the extension will be changed atomatlly.

Here's a pic.

You also can use GIMP.

The file is qwerty.ba0/ba2/tga/....
1. Save as
2. Search for "PNG"
3. Click "PNG"
4. The file will be "qwerty.png" right now
5. Change the ".png" into .bao/ba2/tga/...
6. Click save now and you got your file :).

I did that and before it hid the extension like instead of being az_700_head.tga it'd be
az_700_head, but in a .tga format.

you either do like mega said or by renaming with xnview (right lick on file> rename) because gimp wont save in ba0 or ba2
