usually people sell invites on sites like invitescene.com or if they think you're good enough they invite you.
thing with inviting is if you fail to keep your ratio up, you get banned any everyone in the invite tree gets banned too.
meaning if i invited you, and u get banned, i get banned. + the person who invited me, and so on till the person who got in via interview. essentially killing the whole invite tree for that specific group of people.
so people are super careful as to who they can invite. i got in cuz im super cool
and my ratio watch doesn't actually start till after i've downloaded more than 5gb of stuff. i only have like 2 gb so far so my ratio doesn't matter right now.
i could invite you but since i havent downloaded enough to be a power user i cant. your best bets to try the interview. (it's all music bit-rate related.)
sample questions they ask are like so:
"Whats the bitrate for V0 mp3 files?"
"Does L.A.M.E encode .Wav?"
"What does lossless mean?"
"Which of the following are lossless?" [big list]
Interviews super long (like 4 hours wait line on weekdays just to get interviewed. Then when its your turn it takes ~1 hour)
if you're up for the interview, look up waffles.fm interview tips and shit. and take it on a weekend in the morning (it'll be easy for u cuz of ur timezone) so you're turn comes up faster and you might get lucky to be with a lenient interviewee
oh ya and you have to have good internet speed else you'll end up like me lol
