New! Summer Fruit Flags! (2nd Page)

Okay, so I just made a transpack mod, for the superkhanz trans. I used the files provided (face and body) in the models folder. I deleted the old ones, and put in my new ones. However, the texture is the same as the old ones. Except, that short moment you fly into the air when transing, is the new textures.

Please help, why won't they appear?

You edited ba0 files while your client is running low detail.
Settings > Graphics > FX Detail: High / Quality: High
Note that if your automatic settings set it to low, high detail may mean a slower graphic.
To avoid this, copy the ba0 files and rename them as ba2.

Uh, not really. =\ I am running in high, and edited the flags in high as well. And they worked just fine. Funny thing is, I also replaced the low detail ones with the 128x128(body) for low detail as the ba2, and the smaller face one.



Even weirder, I just removed all the TPK_018 files(superkhanz), and the textures still appear. Is there a 2nd set of texture files?

If what I mentioned didn't work, you're editing the wrong files.

I tried working with other transformations, and they worked just fine.  ???

Yes, that is what the Khanz file I have is called. Or is there two? >_>

I got a working Man mod, and two really nice Summer Fruit Flags. I'll post pics soon.

Fine, I'll tell you.
You obviously have never modded before.

Overalls of Modding in the BOUT client:

ba0 = first common: high detail
ba2 = first common: low detail
bb0 = second common: high detail
bb2 = second common: low detail
bsc = model files: DON'T TOUCH
bon = model files: DON'T TOUCH
--------------
Pattern:
If ends with 0, high detail
If ends with 2, low detail
If ends without number, don't touch(unless tga)


Further development:
Upon editing models(generally armors and transformations), the models are arranged in 10 groups.
0 = normal
1 = second
2 = third
3 = fourth
4 = fifth
5 = sixth
6 = seventh
7 = eighth
8 = red team
9 = blue team

In the example of SuperKhanz, the file of tpk_18 comes under the category of 8, which equals the red team.

Alright, so I got one of my special flags working. These are the summer fruit flags. They come in lemon, and lime.

However, the lime one just crashes when I click it in game, which I am still trying to work out. Here is the file, and I don't think anything is wrong with it.
