u say flygon has good defense but it has the same as salamence, with less hp then salamence  lol

offensively, flygon has 35 less attack and 30 less special attack, with the same speed as salamence

salamence has way better abilities too, especially moxie

dragon dance moxie sweeper salamence is one of the most feared sweepers in the game

competitively, these 2 pokemon aren't even in the same tier really

if you are talking non competitively, then I go with salamence cus he looks cooler imo

ive used both in my main teams multiple times. i strongly prefer salamance.

Adding on to Allie, both are weak to ice and fairly unstable in defense/sp. def.

But upon getting a chance to setup, A Moxie Dragon Dance Salamence can sweep entire teams.

Salamence is better. It has access to a better movepool (such as dragon dance, flygon does not get dragon dance.) Salamence also has better offensive stats, which brings down Flygon even more with the lack of dragon dance
