Bout.dat stopped working :p
-reinstalled twice with a new installer each time
-turned off firewall/antiv
-updated video card drivers etc etc
-made sure i had framworks/directx
-reinstalled drivers
-restarted the computer
-deleted settings.ini and let the patcher do its thing
-repaired client

I searched around trying to find a fix, but I dunno. Kinda feel dumb about it.

Are you 100% sure that you disabled your antivirus/firewall? Because I thought I had disabled them when I had a similar problem but it was not fully off. Also, try allowing zylonshield/bout.dat etc with your firewall (it might also be quarantined).

What antivirus do you have?

Had norton, Uninstalled all of it since it expired and i didnt want to renew it again.
Closed malwarebytes completely and had its startup turned off
Shut windows defender down, and Shut the firewall off completely. Ill try adding it to the firewall just in case But I dont think its that to be honest. Could be idk Im stupid.

Sorry was at practice all weekend just got home. Reinstalled the drivers, reinstalled directx, and installed 2008 c++ and it didnt work.

edit: Still havent been able to fix it lol
