Make gold (atleast in base) worth a certain amount of coins. It'd give people a reason to play base, thus stimulating gameplay.

I think most people dont play base because they hate it and prefer pvp. The idea might work in the short term but i can only really see much of the same in the long run

People don't play base because there's no reason to, it's long rounds without the reward of sector.
