It's simple to just add an exception to the scan list on Norton or any competent anti-virus software.
1. Double-click the Norton Antivirus software in your system tray. This opens your configuration window where you have several options.
2. Click the "Scan" button on the left side of the window. Click "Custom Scan" and click "Options." This displays a list of options for the scanning process when Norton Antivirus detects viruses.
3. Click "Security Risks." Click "Exceptions" and click "Add." This opens a configuration window where you add exceptions to any antivirus scan rule.
4. Select BoutCheetah on your list of software exceptions. Norton lists each program installed on your computer, so you can eliminate the scanning process for your programs each time they load on your computer.
5. Click "OK" to save your changes. After you create the exception, you can either re-scan your computer for viruses or leave the exception for the next time you do a system scan.
