im almost as good as him and ive been doing it for like 2 months just shows has amateur he is, but he uses good songs (by other people) so hes watchable

Pre-warning before you read this post if you're a solid blendfan: I'm NOT saying I'm any good or talking big about myself.

When I first started mixing the first thing I learned was synching. You press one button, everything is done for you (the two songs sync in time, and their beats are matched) pro DJ's use the pitch slider to find the right beat and time, that's what mixing really is, Blend is just fading them into each other.

I know he is because well

1. Everyone says he does even a small portion of his fans (the ones who aren't illiterate when it comes to mixing)

2. I watch his mixes, and all of them are PRE-mixed (meaning he already made them before he started filming so he couldn't have a single mistake in front of the crowd) which is a super nooby thing

3. He used one vinyl. C'mon. You need 2 vinyls to play two songs. There's proof he's a syncer and a pre-mixer right there.

4. He uses a DJ program with his mixer making it impossible to **** up syncing, that's the only reason people use that program. So they can press the button.

5. His effects are basic crap that he just adds in on the songs drops.

6. The songs only change at the end of a drop, which is what you use syncing for anyway. You hit sync just as the first songs big exciting part is about to end, then instead of going back down into a quiet song it goes into the next song when it's still building up. Basics of mixing with sync.
