Did you check some tutorials?.. It's more like you miss the basics.. Check some simple tutorials that involve contrast, text, render positioning.. do simple stuff.. Then go for adding effects .. and so on. You'll get better just keep it up. ^^.

Revo's is more cleaner in aspects where the kowbat is more visible Although the flow is messed up, there is a flow.
