All of that's related historically but, the easter bunny came from a german myth, easter eggs came from christians not being allowed to eat them until easter, eggs also represent fertility, The idea of painting eggs came from the greeks/romans (can't remember), and the only thing that connected it all was the US commercial sector O.o
