i²=-1

Therefore 5i²=-5, which is a negative number, therefore a negative post.

It is simple algebra you 10 year olds.

They made that imaginary number to try and get out of the whole "you can't square root negative numbers." Common to try and to out to imaginary in order to get back into the real world with a answer. (Mainly because there is a gap)
