Tbh I feel you should have reset everything back when you changed the rates from 10k exp to like 700 exp. It's because of long ago that people mainly have so much gigas now. + the ubar active people who grind 24/7. But they earned it. :/

Same with coins. I had 400k coins when I quit. Came back and I realized they are so hard to earn. Yet I earned that and I'm not the most active player in the world. :/
