I think people want something to believe in so they think they have somewhere to go when they die so there less scared of death and instead of doing bad stuff in there life god was made so the community would do better / my opinion

If God exists, then in all likelihood, He/She/It doesn't care whether or not you believe in Him/Her/It because a higher power would be above pettiness like that.
