Recoloring tool lets you recolor while respecting the same light.
If you want to recolor something yellow into dark blue, it will come out light blue.
Just make a new layer, use the brushes and set the Layer Mode to Darken / Multiply / Overall or whatever you want.
Also, if you try to recolor with black / white it will only make your image colorless while keeping the light the same way.

Didnt quite understand. I want to color in dark colors, like not light and ugly-ish, how can i do that ?
I cant make the layer darken or something, because i didnt find where.

Didnt understand anything. Cant just some1 make a good quick guide on how to color and change the colors of an item ? Here's an example of how i want to color.

If you made it b/w and you want to use the recolour tool, then you can increase the intensity of "blackness" for each colour.
~I think that's mana wing so decrease the dial for green so it turns darker then you can recolour over it.

u could always use hue and saturation filters

I say you should duplicate that image , manually color those in black (with brushes and so on) copy-paste that image to the original , overlay or change the Opacity to less like 40-50% or overlay of Lighten Only..You can work that up. You will see what it will fit best for it. Changing the Hue-Saturation affects the overall color of the imagine not just a few parts that you want. You can use the Hue-Saturation in-did but you cant pretty much work with that because the higher you go it will as i said affect the overall aspect of the image.
