My Grandfather passed away last week.  Fought in WWII, got shot up a good bit (I still have one of the bullets they pulled out of him), he was struck by lightning as well when he lived at home with his wife and still was alive lol.  He and his wife spent their last few years living with me and my family.  He was my hero and always will be.
