Firey, let me attempt to address your concern and parallel this concern to what Fira was thinking.
With regard to sector, many players enjoy a greater challenge (I believe this is what Fira was attempting to do here). Many players don't like the ease at which items drop (or for this matter, the amount of experienced gained). I for one would like it as easy as possible given I'm terrible at sector (two nights ago).
Understand that PvPer is an aspect of the game as well. Moreover, she was simply trying to outline the game to closely resemble that of bots. Hit damage was reduced on the high level cores and TD was nerfed on both omnikeeper and discus to enable lower level players a chance to succeed vs higher levels if their transformation capabilities are at a high level.
I guess, continue to talk it out. I really have no say in sector matters (as I rarely sector ;/). One person can't make a game great (Fira) -- a conglomeration of ideas from many players is required for the optimal standard of a game. Lets continue to throw ideas out there and improve the game.
