Yes but a gfx competition should be purely because you want to show you've improved and your capability as a gfx'r, I vote that in future competitions the reward be kept to the tag given to the winners

Why?  1mil is such a nominal amount; I don't think it can hurt.  It's just a small prize for the winner, and I don't see how it would change much.

Ya, but it's like getting tax-deductions; you don't get that much, but it's still something.  Obviously it is nowhere near as rewarding as a SOTW win, but it's still a prize.  I really don't care if there is a prize.  If you guys don't want the prize, I won't offer it.   I just thought it'd be a nice touch.
