1/3 = 0.3333333333333333333333333

0.3333333333333333333333333 x3 = 0.9999999999999999999 .-. Wait what?

= 1 but at the same time, it doesnt.

It equals 1 if you round it. But according to sig figs you won't ever round as 1 and 3 are perfect numbers. Therefore it will never normally get back to exactly 1. (As in you have to break the the sig fig's law which goes against proper and correct math therefore it would be incorrect if you round)

1/6 = 0.166666666666666666...

0.16666666666 x 6 = 0.999999999...

1/7 = 0.142857...(repeats)
0.142857 x7 = 0.99999999999999999..., can look at this many ways though depending on what number you end it with.

Basically any repeating number...

Debating this has always been fun..but it's always come down to one single thing.
Is 1 to the negative infinity (1^-∞) equal to zero? This is not true, as you can never reach infinity, only approach and limit it -- thus meaning it never reaches zero.
By this logic, .99->∞ cannot equal 1, and everything you have ever learned about 1/3 is a lie. It can only be expressed 1/3 and if you ever attempt to even recognize it as 1.33->∞ than you are wrong.
