I think he means specifically for survival.  In some of the survival maps you can't commit suicide (1, 219), so it's a pain to wait it out especially on level 1.

I think its a good suggestion. I once got stuck where i was dead and the RM exited, leaving me the only one left. It didn't say "loose" and i couldn't use the @exit command so I had to close the game manually. I think these commands would be very helpful
