I just reformatted my computer, and I was re-installing BC, I started it and it went to the screen where it's a little white box and the bout.dat has crashed window opens. I then check what's the problem here and a thread says to download your latest Graphic Drivers. I know mine is nVidia so I go to there website and try and update. I do the 'scan my driver' app on the page to figure out what I need to update. Then when the app is done scanning it says I don't need to update since it already is updated, even though I just re-formatted.

Also, on a side note can anybody help me with there being no sound drivers either. I'm currently running Windows 7 Enterprise and it says that no sound drivers have been installed. When I check dxdiag it has no information on the sound card manufacturer or anything all the information is blank.

try opening bc in compatibility mode

Try uninstalling and re-installing again and as for the sound double check everything to see if anything is on mute

Fixed the sound issue, and am now torrenting a Driver finding program that fixes all my problems!
