When i open up the game the resolution is 800x600 so i changed the resolution on the launcher to 1280x960 and when i try to open the client it just comes up with a white box and says bout cheetah has stopped working. I have read the other topic about someone who had the same problem and had it resolved but for me it will not work so if anybody could help me i would greatly appreciate it.

I did and it still occurs

Then the problem still exists and i have thick black lines going down the sides.

Are you in windowed mode or full-screen if you're in full screen try putting it in windowed see if that works.

I have already tried this and it cuts off the bottom and there still lines down the side just not as wide.

That's why.
Your screen resolution must be higher than 1280x960 if you want to play in high resolution.
And to get rid of those black lines you must chose a 4:3 resolution (like 1024x768)

I changed my resolution to what you said and then opened the game in 800x600 full screen mode and i still have the black lines

Therefore the problem hasnt been solved does anyone have any more ideas.
