Your anti virus isn't wrong, but it isn't right either. The anti-virus is made only to find specific codes that viruses use, however the anti virus can't judge what is a virus and what is not, it can just say that it uses functions that viruses use.
A false positive is a program that use the functions a virus uses, but not for the purpose of harming your pc. BC is a false positive.
That's why your anti virus says it's a virus.
It's not the perfect definition, but it's somewhat close.
