Wins mean you've gained experience, which for the vast majority of people, means, they get better.

I don't play at all, but I guess i'd be willing to try to get semi-decent.

I do have MOBA / dota clone(if your a ***got and wanna use that term) experience, but very very little / no experience with Dota as of now.
