Just a suggestion, but add colored text back as a check box, so that members could choose not to use purple if they didn't want to. Like, add to settings for members, or something. Idk. Maybe that's too hard

one of the very few benefits of having members with purple text is that u can distinguish members from non members in the lobby

Well there are some who do not want to use the text but want the other benefits of membership. There is no negative to it.

The benefit is that members have the ability to have purple text and non members do not. If a member wants to write in purple text, they can.

if you let people turn it on/off then you wont accurately be able to tell who is member and who is not

therefor it does in fact take away one of the benefits of it

at the time of this features removal, there were six lobby colours.
now there are two. there's room for this feature to come back without an utter mess.

this is not a reflection of my previous decision, it is allowing one of the other four colours to return if the community wishes.

But she said there are now 2 lobby colors. But there is only 1. Unless you count the @lobby text color.

The orange color for staff makes two

Also having the option to turn it on/off would be neat as some people could not want it and/or simply dislike the color. We are doing this for their benefit, after all.

Ima buy membership only becuase of "purple text"? No sir, No thanks!
and besides, there are alot of colors in the lobby anyway.. I voted for No.

Expand this one. Let have an option to turn on/off  all the colors, everyone will have same color whether the're in shop, room or lobby only if you choose to turn off.

I think Santa would also mess around sometimes and change his color not sure but those were the colors.

And then there was Black/Purple but those were fine it was the staff members (this is when they were actually talkative in the lobby so it spammed colors).

From what I remember, FMs only had black text. (Purple if they were member) We've only had blue text for 5 minutes, then it was removed. lol.
