i'm doing bad in school because of it which isn't really the reason but after about ten years of just basically being pretty good in school you realize it doesn't matter anymore and you aren't bothered for it well that's me but i'm just not bothered to study ts way too boring

actually that has happened to people I know do good in school they just stop caring, i'm not saying I don't care i'm just not bothered with studying because it is sooooooooooooo boring that when I start my mind just goes straight to daydream mode

Im not saying that people dont care, I sure as hell didnt, but it definitly matters. I stopped doing homework back in 7th grade (large projects excluded) because I found it so damn remedial and pointless. I've always tested well and usually a lot better than the majority of the class but that doesnt mean anything, I still got low grades despite the fact that I understood the material much more than classmates who got B's and A's. They're the ones who were allowed to pick courses they wanted while some of my choices were restricted (couldnt get into Bio12 among other ones D:) and they're the ones who received scholarships while couldnt be bothered to even apply despite knowing I had a btter shot at most of them. Plus, you get into the habit of slacking off and procrastinating which really hurts you outside of school as well.
