Doesn't look like flames but I like the concept. IMO, it's more of a sandstone texture with some brightness from a flare (which is clever seeing it relates to fire).

Ugh, Allie you need to understand something. Not everything can be created by the use of brushes. To imitate something abstract is easier than imitating something realistic. Fire Storms have more of a smoother flow, you basically made a collage of brushes that had sharp edges and such. You made more of a texture than an image. Did you even look at what a Fire Storm looked like?

But imo fire is abstract allready when it's realistic, like you said, so an abstract version is even more abstract like Allie's pic.

In YOUR opinion.
In MY opinion. Anything can be made abstract, and abstract can mean different things.
Such as make an abstract sig, doesn't mean to take a realistic pic and make it abstract.
TBH, it's not that fail of a UB, mind if you put a small border or if you don't like boarders make the image alittle clearer?
That would be nice.
