If you really want to make it more active then you should take the responsibility yourself to try. I know it's not easy but if you want it that bad then you should be willing to take the time and effort to make it thrive.

I would play if there were coin item drops. Like in bots there were 3 day or 1 day coin item drops. If those were added then I would play. Not to mention the fact that if it's supposed to be a remake and they are trying to make it as accurate as they can, they need to add those. And fix base like lyfe said even though I have no idea how it used to be but still.

The remake that is currently at play over at BOTS is before barrels existed.

Yes I understand but does it really matter? I know you want to progress the game slowly throughout the timeline of bots but it would be more fun with coin drops. I know it doesn't follow the plan you wanted but it would still be more fun and it wouldn't hurt your money income because they are only 1-3 days. Although is may seem insignificant, which is might even be, it still adds more replay ability to the game and if nothing else people will play for the coin drops at least. Also, why follow that timeline?

About base, I think it is important at the moment and doesn't need attention. Seeing that rarely anyone plays on that server anymore it would be useless to fix base right now. If more people started to play, and not just play sector, then I can understand having a fix for base.

You'd be surprised at how much that 'small' change could affect revenue.

A big BOTS update might bring people back to try it (my 40%), and the 60% is whether they like it and stay.

I honestly don't see why the Bots remake version of base would be hard to fix. The Bot types and armor are balanced; it's just that the drop rates are messed up. However, modifying only the drop rates is much easier than fixing drop rates, balancing the mercs, fixing the OP tag, and balancing the Bot types. Fixing the drop rates is probably the easiest fix to begin with.

If you do ever decide to fix Base mode, you should probably just do it on the Bots "remake" to save lots of time and effort for the same end result.

Also, I would actually play again if Base wasn't broken and was true to the original game. I know a couple of old people who have recently thought about coming back. However, they probably will not because Base currently isn't true to the original game. I know for a fact that I would never, ever forum here or complain again if Base was fixed. I have no real reason to forum here other than to say that  Base needs to be fixed. That's literally the only thing I (and ~20 other people) want. You can do anything you want to do your damn game and make any stupid decision, but as long as Base is fixed, I honestly wouldn't even care.

Base is a great gamemode, people just don't play it because they don't want to get rekted. lol. At least try to learn how to play base. PvP is dead, all people do is sector. I honestly would play base if other people actually played it.

this would be pretty cool, but I don't think many people are down to give up all the extra power they've accumulated in bc to play bots again. Basically everyone that can afford zc would be looked down upon in pvp/base for being decked out with coins in bots like back in the old days. Unless that whole thing with coin drops being present where to happen. It's nice that they're trying to follow the progression of bots acclaim, but they should just pick up where they left off because that's what kept most players coming back.

Though I guess it's the thought that counts. I'm poor anyway so I would actually love to grind & base in bots again

Actually quite a few people have been playing recently, even myself. The forums does need to be cleaned up though.
