capybaras live in a jungle with tons of predators and capybaras only defense is to hide in water it is so sad :'(

they are the worlds largest rodent
yes they are cute :D
JEWPACABRA
Looks mad.
The biggest one is the King of All Gerbils, and those surrounding him are his personal knights sworn to protect him.

didn't know you understood the temperament of wild animals
Also, any rodent in the wild can't be classified as sad because rodents mean there are too many which mean if they weren't constantly killed off they would eat all of the food available in the region and then they would all starve to death and die. So, really, you should be happy that they get eaten.

rodents dont mean there are 'too many'
and capybaras wouldnt 'eat all of the food in the region' because they are herbavors and the animals they live with are carnivores ::)
"Any of various mammals of the order Rodentia, such as a mouse, rat, squirrel, or beaver, characterized by large incisors adapted for gnawing or nibbling."
im pretty scared of rats since i watched the stephen king movie

wow
1) understood is fine (H)
2) I didn't mean the definition of a rodent is there are many of them. Almost (probably all, but I'm not a zoologist, (H)) rodents are in excess wherever they naturally live. rest of my other comment is obv
wait wow food != meat who told you that
If there is enough 'herbivore food' in an area to support 100 jewpacabras, and there suddenly becomes no way to limit the population growth of the jewpacabras (ie get eaten (H)) then there will suddenly be a shitton of jewpacabras and only enough food to support a fraction of them. This would result in all the 'herbivore food' getting eaten, meaning there is nothing else for them to eat, and they would either be forced to gtfo their homes, eat something else, or start eating each other, none of which are very good options for them. so basically they all die if some don't get eaten ok
