Also, any rodent in the wild can't be classified as sad because rodents mean there are too many which mean if they weren't constantly killed off they would eat all of the food available in the region and then they would all starve to death and die.  So, really, you should be happy that they get eaten.

and capybaras wouldnt 'eat all of the food in the region' because they are herbavors and the animals they live with are carnivores
