Try Slender: The Arrival, HD graphics look great, but the gameplay doesn't even compare to the original. Still scary though.

So I am bored and wondered if anyone knew of some fun horror games? They don't have to be only horror but I want an adventure type game. Something that is free and doesn't require me to have a disk or anything. I was thinking of games like amnesia but any will do.

There's that new "Age of Wushu" game that looks sort of interesting.

Pretty awesome, some custom stories are pretty good aswell. Plenty of custom stories on the internet for some instant scares.

Dead Space.

Nah. more action than scares. I've beat 2/3 and didn't get scared.

"The Walking Dead"

Is this a joke? That's not scary, it's just a very good and entertaining game. I personally didn't get to play all the way through, my copy lags like a nigger. But I've watched entire playthroughs.

Go for some indie horrors. You'll find some retarded ones and some that will downright scare the **** out of you.

Try these.

I've watched and/or played all ten, and they're pretty good. They're no Amnesia, but they're short, scary, and adventurous. (slender is there, at #4 on this guys list).

Old but gold:
- Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 and Code Veronica.
- Fatal Frame 1 and 2.
- Doom 3

Resident Evil, only beat 4, was pretty scary, but I was also pretty young. 6 was not scary at all, and raccoon city was ****ing horrible.

Fatal Frame was pretty good, actually. I'd recommend it.

Doom 3, never played it but I can't see the graphics scaring me at al.

RE 5 and 6 are not survivor anymore. Just a shooting game with monsters. So, no more OMGFWHEREDIDTHATMONSTERCAMEFROMANDIMOUTOFAMMO!!
About Doom3, it's not the graphic. try to run around with a flashlight all the time, then a god damn #$%#% monsters appears from nowhere and you need a bigger gun. You can't use the flashlight while using another gun besides the pistol. So... FIRE AROUND YOU UNTIL YOU MAKE SURE IT'S DEAD!
