Title: Favourite fantasy creature.
Post by: Experiences on January 07, 2014, 05:18:37 PM
I'm curious.
Sooo.. What's your favourite fantasy creature and why?

(feel free to post a picture of it aswell so others can see what this creature looks like)  :)

My favourite fantasy creature Is dragons. I just love the way they look and what they can do. I find it cool and interesting. There are dragons in my favourite movies and guess that is a part of why I like dragons aswell.   :)

probably Mohammed or some invisible life force that surrounds peoples lives.

I mean I'm not even an atheist, but shit, the best imaginary characters are the ones that you really can't prove are real or fake.

So it kills itself and becomes a baby?

Yes pretty much it incinerates itself, but because it is closely associated with fire / the sun it becomes reborn and depending on which folklore book you read it either becomes a young baby version of itself or a completely new baby phoenix.  ;D either way still cool to me.

My favorite fantasy creature is this elephant creature from the Lord of the Rings movie.

"Mûmakil are huge creatures resembling oversized elephants originating from within the jungle of Far Harad and were often used in battle by the Haradrim. To most cultures, the Mûmakil were creatures of legend, as fabulous and fearsome as dragons, and to them were ascribed all kinds of strange powers. Oliphaunt was the more familiar name given to them by the Hobbits."

Was in a gif-making mood  (when am I not?) lol
