Yes, my school laptop is an ultrabook which runs W8.1 and my desktop runs Ubuntu. Not only is ubuntu (aka Linux) free, but it highly supports both low & high spec computers unlike windows which doesn't really care for the lower end.  Security and customizable interface is about the same.  You get support for linux and honestly if you are really into programming languages, the capabilities for ubuntu are limitless because it's open source.

Linux is also the umbrella for the majority of all white and black hat "hackers"

also gonna be hitting the gym and I want to schedule some hikes, possibly some zip lining if I'm not broke by then lol  

 It'd be fun indeed if these were temp / fun event item for only single parts. Probably would call it something other than soap, but the idea isn't half bad.

I'm only saying this because at one point or another there have been suggestions regarding cosmetic enhancements to the armor sets, but it's wishful thinking

Oh nice! I sold my ticket, but I am still going to vegas the same time EDC Las Vegas is going down.   I believe I'm going to Beyond Wonderland in September though     nice choice in festivals

in your build specs on the previous page you should

1) replace 1TB sata drive for 125 or 250 sata and have a separate SSD partition (should cost roughly the same)
2) try not to ever use a stock cooling fan because they suck especially on something intended for gaming
3) lowkey obtain a copy of windows 7 for free and use the money you saved to buy a second ram card 


Anyway also like previous posts, look up how to build rigs properly etc ( using gloves or using an anti-static clip as well as how the parts fit and keeping the cords neat)

There is this magical website called www.choosemypc.net where all you have to do is put your budget and it will choose all the cost effective and compatible parts for you to assemble

First build is always the roughest  but the value is mos def usually better than what you would normally be able to afford with the same amount of money pre-built if you do it right
