Make gp stay in guild

The example =/= Argument. When people hop from guilds the GP should leave with them as it's their GP. Not all guilds know who will hop.

GP is on an individual acc and the individuals points make up the guild points as they are a member. Once they are no longer a member, the GP shouldn't still be a part of the guild.

Besides, "Make gp stay in guild" my example was perfectly fine, I don't think I even need to say why it's dumb to implement this for kicking inactives who are no longer a part of the game.

this idea is fail, the players that love to play sector wouldn't be as valued if GP didn't go away after leaving.
the guild master would think of them as a mass source of gp, suck it all out and through them away.
a point of a guild is really to create a union of players, every player should be a asset to one another, not a gp gaining tool that will be eventually thrown out and forgotten about once they stop playing or die.

i don't really give a shit about gp or guilds, but just a opinion.

Then points hop with player? What is gonna be done. Nothing? Has this been resolved?

Yes, think about it this way.  Player joins a guild that he or she loves, and earns his/her own GP for said guild.  This player doesn't like said guild anymore, thus realizing they should quit.  Now, does that guild actually deserve the players hard work, no.  Also, the player should not be allowed to keep it because they earned it for that guild, meaning it should stay with that guild while their in the guild.  So, if the player quits, the guild should lose the GP and the player should lose the GP, thus starting the cycle all over.

Good way to think of it, but at one point that player did grind for that guild.

It prevents those who just join active guilds just to leech and level, then when their capped, quit and join their desired guild.

The guild shouldn't have to pay for it...

But since you also have a point, how about only 25%-50% of the gp is lost, and the rest stays in the guild?
