I'm confused. Isn't a +7 Elektra set better than a Metorium set? Why is Metorium such a big deal/so expensive?

because its much more rare than a +7 elektra and its special colour!

It's the same with many rare items, there are better items but they are rare thus meaning they're a big deal. 2 examples of these are Hallo shield and shoulder at lvl 172 when you could buy discus +0 from the shop that gives better stats and the Death Kitten head only giving you a +200 hp benefit. I don't make these prices or choose them to be like this, it's just how it is.

thats what i ment metorium = ele+5
and ds e = ds +5
that applies on all sets trilicor and below too

I know right?, rarity and looks do matter I guess but to me, using the most effective and stronger set is obviously better than having it just for show.
