How do I change IP on a windows vista? I did everything you're supposed to but when I go check my IP, it's the same.

Allie

changing your IP isn't done in the operating system.

How to Change IP Address in Windows Vista

Below is method to change IP address in Windows Vista:
"Start"
Right click on "Networks" and then "Properties"
"Network and Sharing Centre"
Into "Network and Sharing Centre" right click on your network card < I'm stuck on this, what's your network card?
Select "Diagnose" and then into "Windows Network Diagnostics" window select "Reset the network adapter"
Finally give Vista permission to continue

EDIT: K I did exactly that. I have the same IP.
