Ross found out a way to catch high level Pokemon at full hp with a poke ball doing a certain thing (without hacks ofc nubs) all the way back when ruby came out. Funny thing is you can still do it in the next gens/games even now at black and white. .-. In fact Ross know 2 different ways in black/white.

Ross would brag about his double battle team but meh.

Groudon + Charizard

Groudons sunny day raises fire attacks, Charizards flying makes it immune to earthquake .-. Ofc the down side is ice.
