As a first sig (using photoshop) it's good but because you've done others, it's mundane.
You have the experience so why not bring it into PS?

GIMP -- majorly user friendly and has a massive amount of crap photoshop doesn't that are basic and usually necessary for common shit.
Photoshop -- majorly un-user-friendly and has a massive amount of crap gimp doesn't that are advanced and usually unnecessary for common shit.

^Well if you dl PS brushes and filters and shit it can match gimp..

I started off with gimp, use PS for my little needs now and then. Works well if your experienced with it.

btw good sig for your first in ps. sike. can't really judge cuz it's in b/w. suck-ups.
