little question, how to use Non transparent c4d's? for example a .jpg format. can this also be used as i been looking around on google and most c4d packs contain Jpg format pictures which do not contain a transparent background.

Most people use Linear Dodge to get rid of the non transparent background.

edit: magic wand works but im trying to make some kind of tentacle C4d with a transparent background which will take me ages with the magic wand tool.

Try adding a background to the C4D first then use Linear Dodge.

Look at the Channels tab, there should be another channel except the RGB Red Green and Blue ones. Ctrl click on it and you'll have selected only the c4d.

you could always search for rendered c4d's

Some C4Ds are made for certain effects. Such as those bubbles with the black bgs; they were meant for blending styles.
