It's been a problem for a long time that people just put items in the marketplace at 999999999 gigas and we can all agree that it's just not fair.
Therefore, I propose a fix. This probably will happen regardless of player feedback, but of course I'm informing of future updates, as I always do (except the times I only post it
on the twitter).
First off, the amount of items you're allowed to put in the inventory will be limited. It's likely we'll limit this by starting at 10, and forcing you to buy an in-game item to bring up your limit. The max limit for non-members will be 30, and for members, 50.
Then, you will be forced upon another limit -- your item can only exist in the marketplace for 7 days. You understand this when you release an item into the marketplace. After 7 days it will immediately be removed from the marketplace into...
A new bank-like inventory on the website will be created. When your item is removed from the marketplace it will enter into this portion of the website. Items will never expire here (unless they already have a timer count) and will never be removed unless you redeem them back into your in-game inventory. The catch is...
These items count towards your marketplace limit. This means if this website storage exceeds your limit you will no longer be able to use the marketplace until you make room or purchase more space.
And of course, in addition to this, a confirmation will be added to all transactions, whether it's putting an item into the marketplace, taking one out, buying an item, setting a price, etc. These confirmations can be disabled if desired, however it is supremely advisable that you do not. We will not refund marketplace errors.
