You didn't take in consideration what I said:

By the time he'll get back to his original amount of gigas, I'd have earned about 30 times my amount.

He needs 500mil to get back to his amount. If we grind at the same speed and earn the same amount, by the time he'll have back his 1bil gigas, I'll have 507mil.

500,000,000/7,000,000 = 71.4285714286
100.000.000.000/507.000.000 =1.9723865877712031...

The math doesn't work like that.  Those numbers aren't supposed to be the same ratio.  That 500mil added to both accounts does not show that he lost value in gigas.  If you add 500mil to each account, you are no longer supposed to be talking in ratios.

Let's pretend the gigas aren't halved. 

If both accounts grind at the same speed and each earn 500mil, the ratio is now 1,500,000,000/514,000,000 = 2.91828793774.  Not the same ratio.

You have to multiply each amount of gigas by a constant to get the same ratio, not add the same number to both if you want the same ratio.


And you meant 1,000,000,000/507,000,000 = 1.97238658777.

and @ the ratio thing; ya someone who has 100 mil will lose more than someone with 14 mil; but it'll be harder to get gigas and the 50 mil will still be valued more than the 7 mil. To get from 7 mil to 50 mil will take the exact same time (if not longer if allie decides to lower gigas rates in sector.) as it did to get from 14 mil to 100 mil.

Don't think of it as "oh were losing this much gigas"; since everyone's going down by a certain ratio, and 50 mil doesn't sound like much now but it will sound like a lot after this ratio thing because everyone else will have half their gigas and it'll be harder to get.

sure the 0's are annoying , but this built up over quite a bit of time
it's not like we suddenly realized there are too many gigas
keep them the same , just fix the rates >_>

EDIT:
fixed rates will be unfair too cause old people had a better rates = more gigas
which means a reset is the only fair thing
