Ross would always play on Neo Data, and it was his fav map, until hover came out. Was so fun when Ross would get on his lv 1 account, make a PvP room, and beat everyone by pushing.

How do you play on random, if random is not actually "physically" (in comparison of a possibility that the "bots" data can actually physically "touch / interact" with the other data within the cyberspace,) a map? You merely play on the map that was chosen at random.

How do you play on random, if random is not actually "physically" a map?

I suppose, but I like it because I enjoy PvPing on many different maps consecutively and not playing on the same maps over and over again.

Random Map is a setting for maps PvP, not a map itself like you said. Plus, it's uniqueness gives it enough reason to be available to players in the first place. However, as it's listed where all of the other maps are, I call it a map.

Neo, Xchange, and Heatsink are my favorites, all I did was play Heatsink with DroidPyro everyday instead of Flop (His graphics card couldn't handle any other map)

Xchange I always found fun cause of the fishes and the interactiveness with the map. Neo is self explanatory.
