as u can see in the spoiler, both spider and cyber quoted the same thing, but only cyber was warned. was it because spider was staff that he didnt get warned?

staff dont get warnings/moderated/muted.. they get spoken to by Allie or other higher up staff members, or they get demoted..

I think there have been 1 or 2 times where a staff member did get a warning though but it was a long time ago

the difference between staff and normal users is.

Normal users get warned in public and everybody can see it.

Staff members get "a verbal warning" which is pmed and we as users do not know if this did happen or that it is just a set up lie.

so yah i think its handled correctly, however staff should try avoiding breaking rules at all.

Here's the low down:
1) I made a reply to cookys comment
2) spider, who obviously doesn't know how 2 forum, puts his reply inside my quote. That being "Naw not that bad". So he didn't just paste what I put.
3) cyber goes and pastes previous comment and this is claimed to be spam and someone warned him.

Seems legit to me; I don't see a problem apart from spider not knowing how to navigate around the quote codes. And the fact that cyber should have gotten verbally warned instead of insta niglist.
