I spend usually over 100USD every week or two on games i don't even play, just for the sake of having them.
if you can't afford 50$ to spend, then you don't deserve to play the game, that's what i think. you can always play 1 or 2 for half the price, or wait until it lowers. i got dead space 3 for 30$ the other day, half the price of what it was last week.

if you don't enjoy the 7-15 hours, then you shouldn't have bought it.
by your logic, noone should visit museums, aquariums or any other form of cruise, movie, or public entertainment.
If it's going to be worth your time, then give what you owe for it, else if it's not worth to you what it's worth to the seller, wait until it is.

if you can afford spending money for the sake of having games, good for you. however, not everyone can or likes to buy useless games. i rather spend my low (near 0, actually) "incomes" (since i don't have a job) on other things.

also, i'm not totally sure where you live but here a new computer game costs around 55€ more or less and prices stay high for a considerable amount of time. my country has a completely ruined economical situation, which also influences what i and many others do with their money. back when ps3 was released i spent 714.99€ for buying it first day, and in the same period we (my family) used to have a way higher standard of living.

i'm posting all this useless stuff because it's a topic i get to discuss often but with retarded people so i'm not satisfied.

iri, games only cost that if theyre brand spanking RRP new. buy from interwebs ( ebay amazon etc) or a local game store cause theyll have the preowned copy for less. besides, pc games are generally cheaper than the console counterpart due to the cost of the hardwarez so im not sure where youre buying those 55 euro games from
