Uh yeah, getting paid for ~1 month is better than not getting paid at all.

True, the only positive is to give everyone a job for month, which could possibly help them out in finding future jobs but doubt it. However Ross is sure you would agree, there are so many better ways they could put that money to use to help stimulate and help their economy. The government probably did not chose to agree with doing the world cup to help stimulate their economy, however Brazil simply ends up as everyone's *****, someone has to suffer and host it.  ::)

interesting debate

yeh interesting how they are making lots of suppositions of a country they dont even live, they can't really know the situation of the country and understand his population, so i would say that its a pretty stupid debate. U guys cant really understand(not u guys fault) the consequences of the protests, of police acts, of all this billionary stadiums, and everything that is happening here at all, not even I do understand everything ofc, cuz im not even poor but im much closer to understand than they. Do u guys know what is PEC37? No? How can u guys lost ur time discussing abt a country that none of u 2 really knows about? That is what i called this debate stupid not interesting, because its a discussion based in unfounded assumptions in general...

Maybe i went a lil too far and exaggerated a bitm what could have made me a lil wrong but w/e...
Thanks ang and spidey for the sigs! :3

Why are you making up assumptions that we do not know about the country? Baka. Funny how you are making suppositions of people that you don't even know.   ::)

What i said about PEC37 isnt an assumption, its a fact, its a Project that was going to be voted by the Chamber but the votation was postponed(i wont explain more because i think its unnecessary), and i stated this just to show how naive u guys are in the subject Brazil.
I dont know what u meant with Baka, and i didnt make suppositions about u or Pokeh.
There's nothing more to i state or discuss with u now, it would also be unecessary and maybe stupid of my part i admit.
Thanks ang and spidey for the sigs! :3

You seem mad.  ::)

Claiming that Ross and Pokeh knows little on the subject of Brazil is you assuming that they know little about the subject of Brazil. You know nothing about what Ross and Pokeh knows about Brazil. You went and brought up PEC37 assuming Ross and Pokeh knew nothing about it, that is an assumption not a fact, you assumed they know nothing about it without actually knowing that they that they could know what it is. Heck you even worded it in a sarcastic and ignorant sentence. Heck you do not even give time for us to answer it. "Do u guys know what is PEC37? No?" Stop being a hypocrite, baka. Glad you wont go any further on this and backed off, debating with someone like Pokeh is good, but arguing with an arrogant and ignorant hypocrite is rather a waste of time.  ::)

Agreed. It's just that this protesting from Brazilian natives isn't helping them. But the whole thing is just stupid.

lara538

Came back but for other reason i just felt i wanted to say:
Money spent with World Cup(airports,stadiums...) raised from 25,5 billions of reais(approximately 12,7 billions of dollars) to 28 billions(approximately 14 billions of dollars), the protests continue to happen, with a lot of VANDALISM, from the ones "protesting" not protesting. A strike will happen Monday by part of the population.Thats just a part of what is happening here...

@Ross: i know what i said and i wont discuss, i just wanna say yeah i was a mad, and i assumed u guys didnt know much abt brazil based on what u guys were saying and there is no shame in knowing not much abt another country that isnt yours and u guys for sure know this, also i understood wrong one of ur question and now i understood it correctly... Dont take the wrong idea, take this post with a calm tone because now im far from mad I was arrogant now i see but i still dont think i was being ignorant
just dont face this as a " aah i dont wanna stay that way with ross, he is seeing me in a twisted way  :'( " im not that kind of person i just wanted to saying some things being sincere
Thanks ang and spidey for the sigs! :3

Ignorant as in lacking knowledge about Ross' and Poke's knowledge.

Anyways apology accepted, glad you realized what Ross was indicating.

Protestors seem kinda stupid. One of the points of the protest is for the government to not spend all their money on the stadium. Thus the protesters retaliate by vandalizing, which just makes the Government speed even more money to fix, and ruins their life style. It is probably not done so much by the protesters who are doing it, but more like the "I'm so gangsta" people joining in just to vandalize.  ::)

Omnomnom eating toast.

lara538

Actually, there are two kinds of protests:
the pacific ones
the ones with vandalism and things being stolen
The protests with a f***ing lot of ppl is perfect place to a bandit hide. They can steal stores then hide right after...
From what i see on the TV the focus of the vandalism is cars dealerships, they already burned a lot of 0km cars. The cars dealerships think of sue the government, police is focused on safety around the stadiums to dont let ppl invade it in the game days.

@Ross:Glad to see u accepted my apologies i think...
Thanks ang and spidey for the sigs! :3

Pokeh

Yeah protesting works but it's turned into a mainstream shithole.

For instance, if Zimmerman is acquitted in his case against Trayvon, there's niggers who are going for riots just so they can get free t.v's and stuff from it. ****ing pathetic, and rioting has lost all meaning to it. (look up #Trayvon/Zimmerman on Twitter and read some of the tweets)

People are ****ing stupid.
