I won't be picking any sides here, but the fact you don't know the name of the most popular base map isn't helping your case Ross.

Why does remembering the exact the name even matter? Never mind the map name of a map in the least popular game made? Ross does not even know the names to the Sector levels. Does that affect Ross in terms of Sector?  ::)

^Yeah, but there's literally only one base map that anyone good at base plays on, unlike sector.

Not my fight to fight but that logic isn't really proper imo. What's the name of level 172 sector? I have no idea but does that mean anything about my skill level or really anything. Not to bash your logic, I can see why you would say it but I just find it irrelevant.

It doesn't matter and it is pretty irrelevant. But as I said.. its not helping...

You are trying to make an argument that you are knowledgeable and/or skilled at base but don't know the name of the 1 map out of 8 that gets played the most by far.

"Level 172"
that's the name

people always have called sector levels by their level

and everyone knows of level 172, 239, etc  all the popular ones

That is not the argument. The argument is about Corr's logic about skill, and how any person regardless of who they are, is considered fail at BvB if they do not play on a specific map, have specific tags on, and etc. ::)

Arguing about base with Corr, a well known base extraordinaire/expert, is pretty much like trying to argue that you are knowledgeable and/or skilled about base (in my opinion).

How does that even relate to each other?  Corr claims (indirectly) that ANYONE (indirectly) (even if it was lyfe) met his criteria, (map, op tag, time, 2v1, lag, etc), that person is automatically fail at BvB, despite their actual skill. How does that even relate to Ross trying to argue that he is knowledgeable and skillful at BvB? Keep in mind Ross said anyone, not Ross. It has nothing to do with Ross' skill or knowledge. Despite the original pic with Ross in it, his reply, and logic in reply to that, was so wide open, it has nothing to do with specifically Ross, but anyone who met that.

Judgin by the time, map and lack of an op tag it has come to conclusion that all three fail at base.
Congrats. lol

What if Lyfe was in that pic? /Inb4 Lyfe would never do a thing, but still, what if?

It would be like Ross saying to a pic of 7 pepole + Imag (simply used him for an example) playing on Holodeck, without an OP tag, and the time was under 30 seconds:

"Judgin by the time, map and lack of an op tag it has come to conclusion that all 8 fail at PvP.  ::)"

On a side note, the reason Ross did not know the full name of the map, was because he did not need to know the full name of the map. He simply names it Indust in his head, however felt like naming it a bit more, which yes did not help, should of kept it to just Indust. Kinda like how Ross relates to Cher w/e as Cher. However that does not affect Ross' knowledge and skill in terms of dealing with Cher in-game? Ross mainly cares for the in-game knowledge, not knowing the full name of something does not affect gameplay at all. The real name for 172 is; "Destroy The Data Mines." Using 172 as the name is more or less a based upon the way the person remembers things. Just like Ross prefers just indust. It is simply a map name, same with anything elce, knowing the name Indust is good enough when Ross wants to go find a map, same as 172.
