I think it would be interesting if people can view matches. Instead of battling, users can click on the room and have the option of viewing the battle. It would also greatly help new users to see the game and to get feedback from experienced users.

Been suggested a ton of times, even as far back as BOTS!!. Its either not possible or it would simply be too hard to make and/or not worth the time. It would be a really great feature though, as long as the room master can enable/disable spectators (so he/she can have some privacy).

Yes, this has been suggested several times now. 

In the old bc I think I actually suggested it myself. It seems dumb for the average player, but for video content it would open up a world of creative possibilities.  Too bad it won't ever be done :3

For PvP just suicide, for Sector, just suicide (however it inc mob hp), or watch a video of them. As for BvB you could do both, however you inc the hp of your teams base, and can only view the team your on. However there is a "incomplete" (or so called) observer mode, in BvB back from bots!! Dunno what Kenny could do, but there could be a 3rd team, meant for observers, in which case you start out dead, and can observe all the players. However you could end up being a snitch and relay the info the a team. There are some games, that save a recording (up to x games) for each fight that happens, (ex: GA2) that you can view in a list.

Why is everyone always saying "privacy privacy" you can disable the words.
we had a spectator mode suggestion against hackers, Selene or Allie (as I remember) said it would be inappropriate considering it will take his privacy.
